Symantec Scan Engine 5.2.x periodically enters a hung state while running on Linux

Problem
Symantec Scan Engine 5.2.x periodically becomes hung while running on Linux. This is with no signs of Scan Engine being overloaded, no signs of running out of TCP connections, no signs of the issue occurring every time a liveupdate occurs, and with Scan Engine configured properly.
Solution
This issue has been resolved in Scan Engine version 5.2.13. Please upgrade to the latest version of Scan Engine to resolve this.
