Problem



MSEO agent "sbnbucd" process core dumped immediately in Solaris 10 non-global zone on startup, after MSEO agent was installed on global zone.


Error



Core dumped messages in system messages log:

MSEO version 6.1 GA, 6.1.5 GA, 6.1.6 GA


Cause



It is found that MSEO agent and server packages are installed on all zones of a Solaris 10 host, due to MSEO package installer has incorrectly installed MSEO agent and server packages in all zones, which should only be installed in the global zone.


Solution



As a work-around, MSEO agent and server packages can safely be uninstalled from all non-global zones without impacting the operation of the agent or server
running in the global zone.

Fix of MSEO package installer will be formally released in MSEO  6.1.7 release.
