Enterprise Vault for File System Archiving 10.0, Build 1316
Solution
What issue(s) does this hotfix resolve?
On certain Celerra systems, the list of directories under a given folder are not represented in alphabetical order.
Due to this, the FSA check point mechanism does not function properly as it checks the list of folders traversed in the last run in alphabetical order.
As folders are not in alphabetical order, folders which were traversed in the last run are archived again.

How to Install this hotfix:
- Stop the Enterprise Vault Admin Service on the Enterprise Vault server where FSA tasks are running
- Once the Enterprise Vault services has stopped, backup the files 'KVS.EnterpriseVault.FileServerArchiveCommon.dll' and 'EvFsaArchivingTask.exe' located in Enterprise Vault Install Folder
- Replace the files 'KVS.EnterpriseVault.FileServerArchiveCommon.dll' and 'EvFsaArchivingTask.exe' with their updated versions in Enterprise Vault Install Folder
- Create a registry value 'CheckpointSort' of type DWORD under 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA' and set its value to 1
- Start the Enterprise Vault Admin Service
How to Uninstall this hotfix:
- Stop the Enterprise Vault Admin Service on the Enterprise Vault server where FSA tasks are running
- Once the Enterprise Vault services has stopped, replace the files 'KVS.EnterpriseVault.FileServerArchiveCommon.dll' and 'EvFsaArchivingTask.exe' with their backup versions (10.0.0.1316) in the Enterprise Vault Install Folder
- Remove the registry key 'CheckpointSort' of type DWORD under 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA'
- Start the Enterprise Vault Admin Service
