For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-39777

Environment

All Supported Linux/Unix based Machines.

Cause

This issue generally appears when the credentials used for restoring the resources are not the same as the credentials which were used at the time of backup(normally the "root" account). This can be checked from the resource credentials option under the restore job properties. Most of the times the System Log on Account is present as the default under the resource credentials view.

Note-If the same job is redirected then it goes successful as the credentials used for restore at this time are not verified with the credentials which were used at the time of backup(normally the "root" account).

Solution

When restoring to the original location on a Linux/Unix based Machine make sure that the credentials used at the time of restore are same as the credentials which were used for the backup(normally the "root" account).
