Blue screen when Zonelabs Client is installed with Local Recovery Agent

Issue



Blue screen appears after Partition Wizard finishes with local partition creation and prompts for reboot. Logoff dialog is not yet seen.

On the blue screen the following error is shown:

Stop c0000219 Fatal System Error
The windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000. The system has been shut down.

Recovery Solution 6.0


Cause



Compatibility problem with ZoneLabs client and Local Recovery Agent.

Solution



Replace the following files in the Recovery Solution installation Path prior to reboot after running the installation:
  • RegAgent.dll
  • rnsmshl.dll
  • AeXRSAgt.exe

The fixes are attached to the right of this article in a file called ZoneAlarm.zip.
