Problem

When clicking on the "View import data" for a Data Connector Data Source that uses an .xml file, the error "Unable to get data from the selected data source. Ensure the data source is configured properly. Unable to find column definitions in the given xml document." occurs.

Cause

The .xml file is not in the expected format.

Solution

Change the format of the .xml file to the expected format, or consider using .csv or .xls files, which are easier to format.
