BUG REPORT: After upgrading to NetBackup 7.5, VMware Backups hang when attempting to write to MSDP storage pools.

Problem
After upgrading to NetBackup 7.5, VMware Backups hang when attempting to write to MSDP (media server deduplication pool) storage pools.
Environment
NetBackup version 7.5
MSDP Storage Storage pools in use.
VMware client backups.
Cause
This problem is triggered by an invalid short_blk being received. When this occurs, the bptm log will show the following:
A short_blk greater than zero will be received during fbu_check_filheader:
09:35:35.907 [6568.3760] <2> 1123532:bptm:6568:nbuhost: [DEBUG] PDSTS: fbu_check_filheader: next_streamoffset=30664, short_blk=456, buflen=976
...after which an UNKNOWN fh_magic is recorded:

Finally, a software error is recorded:
