Problem
NFS 4.0 is currently not supported by Replication Director on SLES/RHEL platforms
Error
Policy Validation will fail with the following error:
Environment
All SLES/RHEL platforms using NFS version 4.0.
Solution
Symantec Corporation has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue (Etrack 2724840) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.
This issue was currently scheduled to be addressed in the following releases:
- NetBackup 7.5 Maintenance Release 3 (7.5.0.3)
