Problem
Domino Vault Cache temporary databases EVR_*.nsf could build up the Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway folder "Data\EV" and they are not removed after their usage
Cause
The issue occurs when Lotus Notes is closed during large download of data from the EVDG temporary databases EVR_*.nsf to the local EVOffline.nsf.
When Lotus Notes is opened again the process of downloading items from the temporary EVR_*.nsf is not resumed, instead a new EVR_*.nsf is created leaving orphaned EVR_*.nsf that cannot be deleted by the EVDominoHousekeeping because they still contain items.
Solution
This issue has been addressed in the following release:
Enterprise Vault 9.0.4
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH147785
Enterprise Vault 10.0.2
