When Full VMware backups are configured with GRT enabled but the incremental backup is configured with GRT dislabed, the restore of the entire VMDK from the incremental will be successful but will only restore the incremental. The Virtual machine will fail to boot with No Operating System Found.
AVVI: Entire VMDK restore from a Non-GRT incremental backup will restore successfully but is unable to boot when the full is a GRT enabled backup.
