Cause



Such error is also observed due to corrupt security certificates.


Solution



Follow the below given steps to remove and recreate new Security Certificate:

1. On the remote server launch 'Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Utility' from Program Files > Backup Exec. If Remote Agent Utility alredy running then, just double click on its icon from system tray.

2. Click on the 'Security' tab

3. Click on the 'Change Settings' button

4. Click on the 'Security' tab

5. Select the listed security certificate

6. click on 'Remove' button

7. Apply and close

8. On the Media Server open a selection list and browse to the same remote server and select the resource.

9. When the Establish Trust Relationship prompt pops respond Yes/Apply
