Problem
This article describes how to create a PGP Portable Disk with automatic encryption.
Environment
PGP Universal Server
Solution
Use the following steps to create a PGP Portable Disk.
1. Log into the PGP Universal Server administrative interface.
2. Click Consumers > Consumer Policy and select the desired policy.
3. Select the Disk Encryption tab and place a checkmark next to PGP Portable.
4. Under Whole Disk Encryption, place a checkmark next to Enable automatic Encryption or locking of removable devices.
5.Connect the USB Drive, right-click the drive and then select PGP desktop > Create PGP Portable Disk.
