Problem
Beremote may terminate due to memory allocation error when getting backups using VMware Agent (AVVI)
Error
The following error can be reported in the debug log, an application error of beremote can be reported in the event log or a Runtime Library Error can pop up.

Cause
Memory leak is observed when getting backups using VMware Agent (AVVI)
Solution
A hotfix is now available for this issue with Backup Exec 2010 R3 Rev 5204 and Backup Exec 2012 Rev 1798. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Articles at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
