Problem
Unable to perform asset import job using DLP connector.
Error
Could not resolve asset for Machine ID=tccdav1b, Database Server Name=' ',Database Server Type=' ',Database Port=' ',Database Name=' '.
Cause
This error is occurrs when there is no "ADD" Reconciliation Rule associated with the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Data System.
Solution
To apply the Add reconciliation rule to the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Data System, do as follows:
- Go to External data integration workspace
- Right Click Symantec Data Loss Prevention
- Click Set Asset Reconciliation
- And Click Add all from the below path
- Reconciliation rules -> Predefined Rules -> Data Schema Driven-> Symantec Data Loss Prevention Incidents
- And click OK
- Re-run the External Data Integration job now.
