Check status : Error: e0008442, The job failed with the following error:

A memory allocation request failed. The computer may be running low on virtual memory.

 

Error of SQL server backups

Check status : Error: e000848c, The job failed with the following error:

Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.  If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Edit the selection list properties, click the View Selection Details tab, and then remove the resource.

 

 


Solution



This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 2014 or later versions. 

 

To resolve this issue and receive the new Backup Exec improvements please upgrade to the current version of Backup Exec

WORKAROUND:

 

To disable the error in Backup Exec 2012, uncheck "Check logon account credentials" in the property of the Test run.
