How to change Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) temporary staging location for Backups and Restores.
Environment
Backup Exec 2012
Solution
- Launch Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Console.
- Click on Backup Exec Button | Configuration and Settings | Backup Exec Settings as shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1 :
- Click on Granular Recovery Technology as shown in Figure 2.
Figure 2 :
- Enter the path for the Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) temporary staging location for Backups and Restores.
Note :
Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) temporary staging location for Backups and Restores should be a "NTFS volume and Local to Backup Exec server".
