Problem

Unable to have task server registered to itself.

Error

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (-2147014836)

Cause

There was an error while performing this operation for IIS

IIS needs to be configured in order to have the task service installed and Default App Pool should be Classic .Net.

Solution

-. Goto IIS Manager
-. Right Click on the Virtual Directory and Choose "Convert to application".
-. Goto Command Prompt
-. Run IISRESET
>> We no more received the authentication error :

Error : Configuration section not allowed to set below application.
>> Rebooting server and checking if the registering of the task server takes place correctly
