AVVI snapshot fails with error 0xe00095a0 if the virtual machine has either a raw disk, a shared bus controller or other incompatible device

Problem
An Agent for VMware for Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI) enabled backup of virtual machines fails with above error.
Error
Backup Job Log shows:-
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00095a0 - An attempt to take a snapshot of a virtual machine failed because the virtual machine has either a raw disk, a shared bus controller or other incompatible device.
Final error category: Resource Errors

Cause
This issue may occur if :
1. Virtual machine has a Raw Mapped Lun
OR
2. Virtual machine has a SCSI controller with bus-sharing enabled.

Solution
Workaround:-
1. Exclude virtual machines in question from backup job selection.
2. Backup these machines like physical machines using remote agent for Windows systems (RAWS)
