Exchange 2010 GRT enabled backup fails with error - The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange transaction log has failed

Problem
When running a GRT (Granular Recovery Technology) enabled backup of a Microsoft Exchange 2010 Information Store, the backup fails with the error V-79-57344-813 "0xe000032d - The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange transaction log has failed.", and Event ID 9877 is generated on the Exchange server.

This is caused by a MS Exchange limitation in terms of Content Indexing
Solution
To resolve this issue, install the Update Rollup 6 for Exchange 2010 SP1. Refer to the following Microsoft KB article for further information:
