Alerts are appearing as Informational when Rule definition is for different severity

Problem
Monitor alerts can be converted from any severity to “Informational” based on how the Maintenance Windows period and Monitor Agent settings are configured. Check how Maintenance Windows are configured and what the configuration is for the Monitor Agents with respect to Maintenance Windows. As an example;
Maintenance Window setting as defined in Symantec Management Agent settings:

Cause
Monitor Agent 'maintenance window' settings enabled.
Solution
Ensure that Maintenance Window period is correct and Monitor Agent 'maintenance window' settings are properly enabled\disabled.
