Problem
In an environment, which has ServiceDesk 7.1 SP1 installed and the underlying Workflow has been upgraded to Workflow 7.1 SP2, it has been noted that clients are unable to access the Automation Rules Webpage or Open a Workflow Project as they encounter an error (Please refer to the Error Section of this KB Article for Information Regarding the Errors Encountered)
Error
Workflow Project Error:
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE:
1) Open the Workflow Designer
2) Next open a workflow project (e.g. SD.IncidentManagement)

Process Manager Error:
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1) Open and Log into the Process Manager (Ensure that the user who you are logging in as has permissions to access the Automation Rules section of the Process Manager)
2) Navigate to the Automation Rules page (Admin -> Automation Rules)

Environment
Symantec ServiceDesk 7.1 SP1
Cause
The root cause for the errors encounted has been isolated to a mismatch with the SD.AutomationRules.dll. The Workflow 7.1 SP2 upgrade is expecting the DLL to be a certain size (In this instance it is expecting the DLL to be 76KB), however the SD.AutomationRules.dll which is shipped with ServiceDesk 7.1 SP1 is only 56KB.
Solution
NOTE: Before proceeding please ensure that you backup the default SD.AutomationRules.dll which will be replaced by implementing the following steps.
