Problem
From where does the RMS Data Collector fetch the target server details for bv-Control for UNIX ?
Solution
RMS stores all target server details for Oracle and Unix snap-ins in a file named as 'scoping.mdb'. RMS fetches the data from this file when you click on all server tab in bv-control for Oracle and Unix snapins. This file can be opened using MS Office Access. Following is the default path where the file is stored:
Path: %program files%\Common Files\BindView\bv-Control\UNIXShared\Database
