Unable to add disk storage after upgrading to BE 2012

Problem
After upgrading to BE 2012, disk storage on local disks when added in Backup Exec stays in 'Configuring' state and never comes online.
Cause
This issue will come up if Backup Exec server is in paused state. This can be confirmed by checking the server status in Beutility.
Solution
In Backup Exec UI select the option to Hold Job Queue (as shown in screenshot below). This will result in Server going into Paused state. Once again select the same Hold Job Queue option to un pause the server.
Try adding the Disk Storage now and it will work fine.
