ICE03 “Invalid format string" resulting from a package validation check. This is happening after an application has been created using the Setup Capture Tool.
The problem is that packages created by SetupCapture now apparently always result in an ICE03 error. This error can be detected by the WPS Package Validation tool. The ICE rules are Internal Consistency Evaluator rules or package validation rules developed by Microsoft. These rules validate the integrity of a package and identify potential issues related to the installation process, the uninstallation process, etc.
This is a known issue and Development has created a point fix.
Download this wfwi.exe, and replace it with the existing one.
