Issue

Deleting contacts works without an issue (redirecting back to the same incident after deleting) when used in IE8, IE9 or Safari. When contact is deleted using Firefox 8 (versions 4, 7 and 8), user is redirected to the No Licenses page after refresh, with an error message:
"License check failed for this request. Either you do not have permission to access this content or your license usage has exceeded the available number of licenses."

This disrupts the workflow for technicians and raises concerns about the licensing.

Error

License check failed for this request. Either you do not have permission to access this content or your license usage has exceeded the available number of licenses.

Environment

ServiceDesk 7.1 SP1
ServiceDesk 7.1 SP2

Cause

Product defect.

Solution

Deleting contacts needs to be specifically enabled for the issue to occur.

Symantec is researching the issue.

Workaround:
As the issue is Firefox-specific, use a different browser than FireFox.
