Carbon Copy Solution stops working when license count is exceeded.

Environment



Carbon Copy Solution 6.x

Cause



Check the license Status for Carbon Copy under Configuration tab > Licensing > License Status.

Note: If the In Use count is more than the Actual Computer Count, but the computers have been recently upgraded or migrated, then there may be some duplicate data in the database until the Purge Maintenance runs.


Solution



  1. If this is accurate then it will be necessary to remove the amount of Carbon Copy Agents which is exceeded.
  2. Purchase more Carbon Copy Agent licenses.
  3. Run a purge on the database if the computers have been recently upgraded or migrated.
