LiveUpdate policy not displaying as expected for Limited Administrators

When viewed in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) by a Limited Admin user, the LiveUpdate schedule in the LiveUpdate policy is shown as disabled. Users with full admin access can see that the policy is actually enabled.


Limited Administrator accounts on the SEPM have "read only" permissions for the LiveUpdate policies.  As a consequence, the LiveUpdate scheduled option is seen as disabled for these accounts.



This problem is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 RU7 MP3.  Please read Obtaining an upgrade or update for Symantec Endpoint Protection for information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection and upgrade all SEP 11 SEPMs to the latest available release.
