Duplicate Symantec Critical System Protection (SCSP) Agents are registering with the SCSP Management Server

Problem
When Symantec Critical System Protection (SCSP) agents are uninstalled then reinstalled on the same client machine, the SCSP agent will register with the SCSP Management Server as a separate entry resulting in multiple entries of the same agent to appear on the SCSP Management Console.

Environment
Affected Symantec Critical System Protection versions: Release 5.2.8 MP3 or earlier.
Solution
This issue is scheduled to be addressed in the future SCSP 5.2 RU9 GA
