After a fresh install of the Symantec Management Platform 7.1 sp2, some SNMP based Alerts come in as "Unrecognized Alert" into the Event Console

Problem
Several Dell based MIB files have been removed from the Core infrastructure resulting in SNMP Bassed Alerts with Description defintion of 'Unrecognized Alerts".
Error
SNMP based Alerts appearing in the Event Console will appear with "Unrecognized Alert" designation:

Environment
New installation of Symantec Management Platform 7.1.8280 (sp2) and Event Console 7.1.7580 (sp2)
Cause
Dell MIB's were removed from the 7.1sp2 8280 Core.
Solution
Several Dell based MIB files have been removed from the Core infrastructure. These MIB's files are listed in the following table:

Once the MIB files have been obtained, these MIB files will need to be imported into the SMP. This is done via the MIB Import function as shown here:

In additon to importing the MIB's shown above, an updated Pluggable Protocols configuraiton file has been attached to this KB as well. This updated .config file contains 7 alerts belonging to package Guid “F82F70C3-2E98-434F-944D-07C839234AF6”(MIB II). (shown in Table above highlighted in yellow)
