Technical Solution

When attempting to install or upgrade any app on an iOS device the following error occurs and will not proceed.

"Cannot connect to {tenant name}"

This applies to version 3.0.9 of Nukona App Center on all versions of iOS apps.

RHEL/CentOS 5.5-5.8 64-bit.

This error occurs when customers upload .ipa files that are not in the proper format such as a .zip of the .app folder. In this case, the App Center will unzip the uploaded file, fix the directory structure to match what the iOS device expects, and zip the file back up before saving the .ipa file. There is no re-check of the file-size after the fix-up, so the file-size that we store in the database for this .ipa file is different than what is on the disk. The file size stored is from the originally uploaded and pre-restructured file.

This issue is fixed in version 3.1 of Nukona App Center. The file size is now reset after the fix-up.
