Backup jobs managed by Symantec System Recovery Management Solution are not running after changing password of the Altiris service account

Backup job that are managed by Symantec System Recovery Management Solution (SSR-MS) are not running after changing the password of the Altiris service account.
The Altiris services are not running on the client side.
This happen due to Altiris services on the client side failed to run due to log on failure.
After changing the password of the service account, the services must be updated to the new password, otherwise the services will fail to start after the machine is rebooted. Note that the services will still be running as long as the services have not been restarted or server rebooted. When the Altiris services on the management server are restarted or the server rebooted, the user will no longer be able to logon to the Symantec Management Console.
When the client computers are rebooted, the Altiris Services on the client will failed to start due to logon failure. This might sometimes invisible to the administrator. When the services are not running, the managed jobs will no loger run on this machine.
Make sure the services is update to the correct password, and make sure the services are running on both the clients and the server.
