PCA 12.5 SP4: Remote printing fails when Remote and Host are NOT connected when document is printed.

Problem
If a PCA printer is configured and on the Host you print a document to the PCA printer while there is NO active PCA connection then the document does not get properly processed by the Remote when a connection is made.
If a Remote/Host connection is active when you print the document then all works fine.
Error
Empty pages or pages filled with special characters/symbols are printed.
Solution
Remote printing functionality is intended to be used when a Remote/Host connection is active. Remote printing functionality has not been tested in situations where there is no active Remote/Host connection. This is working as designed and will not be changed.
