Starting in 7.5, when editing a non indented Duplication task, the JAVA and Windows Admin Console will change the task type to Backup and not allow it to be changed back to Duplication. The picture below shows a Duplication task but when it is opened to edit it, the task type changes to Backup.
There is no error displayed, the task type changes in an unwanted manner.
Any 7.5 through 22.214.171.124 master server
The GUI only allows indented tasks to be type Duplication.
1) Exit the edit task dialog box using the Cancel button.
2) Use the right indent arrow located below the Storage Destinations portion of the SLP dialog, shown in the red box below, to indent the Duplication task under the backup it is supposed to duplicate
3) Open the Duplication to edit it again and the type will remain Duplication.
