'Show Versions' context menu feature not working on Windows 7 x64 and Windows 2008 R2.

Problem
With Symantec System Recovery (SSR) 2011 installed, it's possible to right-click on any file/folder and choose the 'Show Versions' option (see Figure 1 below). This should open up the 'Recovery My Files' user interface and list all available versions of that file/folder.
This feature is currently not working on x64 versions of Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 Server.

Solution
A supported hotfix has been made available for this issue. Please contact Symantec Technical Support to obtain this fix. This hotfix has not yet gone through any extensive Q&A testing. Consequently, if you are not adversely affected by this problem and have a satisfactory temporary workaround in place, we recommend that you wait for the public release of this hotfix.
