Problem
When browsing within the Backup Exec administration console into the backup selections for an NDMP device, if the number of folders at a single level exceeeds 1023, then although the folder names will be visible the content of each folder will not be displayed. If less than 1023 folders exist then the content is displayed correctly.
A backup of the complete NDMP volume does protect all the data and restore operations are sucessful.
Note: This was reported against a NetApp device, however is likely to affect other supported NDMP devices.
