Problem
Panasonic CF-52GGNBXAM is no longer able to boot after installing Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk v8.2.0 MP2. Boot process stops at blank screen with 6 (.)'s dots.
Error
Boot process stops in early stages of hard drive boot. No error messages. The laptop stops booting after the screen displays a blank screen with six (.) dots.

Make and Model : Panasonic CF -52 Laptop
Client OS : Win XP SP3 32 bit
Client Package Installed : Framework, Full DisK, Removal Storage
Number of machines affected: 25.
Solution
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk Defect. This behavior is resolved in Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk v8.2.1 MP1. It is not mentioned in the release notes.
