When adding users to a PGP Whole Disk Encrypted drive in Mac OSX 10.7.x, the initial user is required to follow the 8 character passphrase criteria, but each additional user requires only a single character to get created and authenticated. Any additional user should also follow the 8 character passphrase complexity requirement.
This only occurs on Mac OS X Lion (10.7.x) and PGP Desktop 10.2.1
On Mac OS X 10.6.x and PGP Desktop 10.2.1, additional users follow the correct passphrase requirements.
