Problem
GRT (Granular Recovery Technology) fails to locate the VMDK in the deduplication storage folder after successful backup of the large VMDK.
This prevents GRT restores from completing successfully if tested at a later time.
Workaround
- Disable GRT for the backup
- Split single files that are larger than 1.5TB's into smaller pieces
- Backup to a different storage device, tape or B2D
Solution

This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 2010 Hotfix 194471. (TECH194471).
