Problem
vxconfigd crashed and dumped core showing SIGSEGV fault in ddl_migration_devlist_found() when the user executed 'vxdmpadm' to enable multipathing of unused LUNs.

Cause
The database of DMP in memory, becomes corrupted after this operation.
Solution
In order to find a root cause for this crash of vxconfigd, please capture and send the debug log of 'vxconfigd'.
Please start the vxconfigd using the following command:
# vxconfigd –x syslog –x 9 –x log –x logfile=/var/tmp/vxconfigd.log
# < Please attempt to enable the path of the LUN using ‘vxdmpadm’
so that vxconfigd will crash and will dump its core. >
(e.g. /usr/sbin/vxdmpadm include vxdmp path=hdisk14:0E-09-02 <<< These will be different on your system.)
After it generates the corre-file of vxconfigd, please send the core-file and the debug log /var/tmp/vxconfigd.log to Symantec Technical Support.
As a work-around, you may reboot the system in question at your convenient time. If the system is in a VCS cluster, please take appropriate steps before rebooting the system.
