PGP Desktop

  • Resolved an issue in the LDAP enrollment customization feature so that a custom string now displays properly at the enrollment prompt. [2950610]
  • Resolved an issue where enrollment timed out when the system was connected to a VPN unless the PGP Tray service was manually restarted. [2953567]
  • Resolved the issue where PGP files were being created on the root of the drive on systems with PGP Desktop for Mac OS X installed. Policy and preferences updates no longer create these additional files. [31463/2956744]

 

PGP Whole Disk Encryption

  • The PGP BootGuard screen has been updated to accommodate Apple's Retina display resolution. [2837679]
  • Resolved an issue so that the PGP Whole Disk Encryption Assistant window does not appear while upgrading from PGP Desktop 10.1.2 to PGP Desktop 10.2.x when Deny Single Sign On is set in the Consumer policy. [2931224]
  • Resolved an issue that prevented a user from accessing the second hard drive after encryption. [2931281]
  • Resolved the issue so that Microsoft Windows XP users can encrypt individual partitions using PGP Whole Disk Encryption with embedded policy. [2936725]
  • Resolved an issue so that users no longer see an error message at PGP BootGuard when Microsoft Windows 7 computers with PGP Whole Disk Encryption installed are recovered from sleep or standby. Before encrypting or decrypting, select Power Failure Safety from Encryption Options. [2949616]
  • Resolved an issue so that HP Compaq 510 Notebooks with two partitions reboot properly after the manual encryption of the partitions with PGP Whole Disk Encryption. [2950205]
  • Resolved an issue so that you can resume stopped or paused encryption or decryption on a managed PGP Whole Disk Encryption installation. Computers can also be successfully decrypted after being partially encrypted and then rebooted using the PGP Desktop Recovery CD.   • Devices having PGP Whole Disk Encryption installed along with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention 7 or 8 no longer show any issues when Single Sign-On is used. [2950232]

PGP NetShare

  • Users logging on to Windows using a smart card containing an X.509 certificate can now select one or more keys for encryption, rather than having all the keys on the token selected. [2949865]
  • Users can now remove or decrypt/re-encrypt a PST Microsoft Outlook file in a PGP NetShare folder, even if that file has been modified in Outlook. (Modified PST files encrypted previous to this release must be decrypted with the PGP Command Line using the --force switch.) [2949868]
  • Resolved the issue where a user key created on an Aladdin eToken PRO smart card could not be used to encrypt a PGP NetShare folder, resulting in an unknown-key error and not giving the user the correct administrative role. [2950620]
  • Users can now open a Microsoft Excel file in a PGP NetShare folder in read-only mode, even if the file is already open by other PGP NetShare users. [2955074]

 

PGP Messaging

  • Resolved issue where PGP Desktop for Windows would sometimes incorrectly block email traffic when the IMAP, SMTP or POP mail proxy had been disabled or had been configured to pass data through unmodified. [2950241]
  • Resolved the issue where the Recall This Message option in Microsoft Outlook 2010 became greyed out for standard messages after PGP Desktop was installed. [2950554]
  • Resolved issue where PGP Desktop would sometimes fail to prompt Lotus Notes users to insert their smartcard when attempting to decrypt email. [2950618]

PGP Desktop 10.2.1 MP2

 

  • Users upgrading from 10.2.0 MP4 (Build 2526) to 10.2.1 MP2 (Build 4869) on systems running Windows XP 64 bit, they will receive a blue screen error followed by quick reboot. To workaround this issue, upgrade to 10.2.0 MP5 before upgrading to to 10.2.1 MP2 [2863789]
  • Users will receive the blue screen error when updating from 10.2.0 MP5 to 10.2.1 MP2. The error is received after the first reboot and is cleared once you reboot the system. There is no loss of data once the error is cleared. [2863792]

  • Resolved the issue so that PGP Desktop for Windows attempts to use existing policy after upgrading from version 10.2.0 MP5 until a new policy can be obtained from the PGP Universal Server. [2747491]

  • Resolved the issue where the Entourage Apple Script “decrypt + verify” was not able to decrypt the contents of the message. [2475174]
  • Resolved the issue where X-Headers were not being set by the Microsoft Outlook Encrypt and Sign buttons if the email was not encrypted with a policy but sent in clear. [2638567]
  • Resolved the issue with sending Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes email messages when the “Offline: Standalone policy” is in use and network connectivity is sporadic. [2693648]

 

PGP NetShare

  • Resolved an issue so that PGP NetShare-protected Microsoft Office (Word or Excel) files retain their encryption if the file is opened and saved. [2467573]
  • Resolved the issue with PGP NetShare that would cause a whitelist folder with many files on a slow network share to be inaccessible. [2598512]
  • Resolved the issue with PGP Desktop for Windows where linked Microsoft Access database files could not be opened after encrypting with PGP NetShare. [2497551]

PGP Whole Disk Encryption

  • Resolved the issue where a user could change another user’s passphrase on an encrypted disk using PGP PGP Whole Disk Encryption for Mac OS. [29025/2473981]
  • Improved Whole Disk Recovery Token support for external devices that are encrypted with PGP WDE on Windows systems. [2475344]
  • Added support for the new version of the Aladdin eToken PRO Java 72K token on Windows systems. [2525576]
  • Resolved the issue so that a PGP Desktop for Mac OS X client bound to an Active Directory domain now uses the login name (rather than the display name) to log in at PGP BootGuard. [2555672]
  • Resolved an issue with PGP Desktop Whole Disk Encryption that would cause slow encryption on Dell E6420 systems with an i5 processor and AES-NI support. [2616188]
