Problem
VCS5.0MP3RP4_SOLARIS10: WebLogic Agent 5.1.12.0 fails to offline resource WebLogic_FOO-admin_FOOAdmin of Administrative Role. It can be stopped outside VCS.
Error
2012/05/30 23:36:38 VCS ERROR V-16-55008-20061 Resource(WebLogic_FOO-admin_FOOAdmin) - (t0t22s:offline) <WebLogic::Stop>:[/apps/FOO/FOO-20/FOOdomain/bin/stopWebLogic.sh] failed with exit code [1]
Solution
It's suspected that the problem is with the stop script's execute permissions. That means whether you need to change directory to the DomainDir/bin before executing the stop script.
To verify that, please execute the following steps:
a. Login as root and cd to /opt/VRTSagents/ha/bin/WebLogic.
b. Execute the stop script using absolute path.
If the above execution failed with permission denied, then the fix is already available in the VRTSwls 5.1.14.0 agent. Please upgrade VRTSwls to VRTSwls 5.1.14.0.
