When SWV is on the system you will not able to launch Windows Metro Apps. This is because each metro app loads it's own registry hive and the current version of SWV driver doesn't handle those request properly and an access is denied is returned for this area.
1. Install Windows 8 64BIT Enterprise
2. Install SWV
3. Restart the machine
4. Try to start e.g. Weather App from the new start menu
5. The app directly does an exit.
MS WINDOWS 8 X 32/64
SWS / SWV 6.1 SP8 & Chrysler Beta 1 will not support Windows 8.
This is a known issue and fixed in our next release (Chrysler 7.5 - official release). Hence, uninstall the SWV client and install the Chrysler version when available.
