Problem
After upgrade to RU3 getting servlet exceptions on the report page in CCER GUI
Error
[ServletException in :/jsp/view/renderer
/TaskRenderer.jsp?compID=VIEW_TREE_TASKS
null'
Cause
Issue with password encryption in ERconfig.ini config file
Solution
Remove password encryption in ERconfig.ini config file:
- Stop "Veritas Enterprise Reporter Web Console" service from the Services panel
- Edit ERconfig.ini (default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\VERITAS\VRTSccer\esmweb\webgui\sm\config\ERConfig.ini)
- Change isencrypt=true to isencrypt=false
- Start "Veritas Enterprise Reporter Web Console" service from the Services panel
- Verify that the report page in CCER GUI is working fine
