Solution

What issue(s) does this hotfix resolve?

Description of problems
=======================
2641216:
Whilst processing sets of data which include large amounts of non-Enterprise Vault data stored on Centera partitions, the EVSVR utility infrequently shuts down unexpectedly.

2686359:
When pass-through recall is enabled for File System archiving to a Centera partition, files larger than 100MB are partially corrupted when recalled.

2720845:
A query is executed for each mailbox that is processed as part of an archiving run to list all the folders that have items that were recently deleted. This query can take a long time and cause archiving to fall behind.

2589278:
The October 2011 Critical Patch Update for Oracle Outside In Converters, which Enterprise Vault uses to convert data for storage, includes a fix for a security vulnerability in the Oracle Outside In Converters.

2661686:
Text files within certain compressed files were not converted due to the combination of conversion options used.

2664242:
The January 2012 Critical Patch Update for Oracle Outside In Converters, which Enterprise Vault uses to convert data for storage, includes a fix for security vulnerabilities in the Oracle Outside In Converters.

Due to the conversion options utilised within Enterprise Vault 9.0.3, customers are already largely protected against vulnerabilites of this nature, but the October 2011 and January 2012 patches will provide additional protection.
