Issue



After installing R14 on the Notification Server, the Package Servers cannot synchronise because of constant failures in the GetPackageInfo request at the AddressSiteCache. 


Error



Unable to get the package codebases for the specified packages (Resource: Altiris.Common.GuidCollection, Packages: Altiris.Common.GuidCollection, Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

Steps to rollout the pointfix:
--------------------------------
1) Log on to the Notification Server using the Application Service account and User Session ID 0 (use mstsc /admin or /console for RDP access).

2) Run Install.cmd to install point fix files. Make sure that you run the install script from administrator elevated cmd.exe.
   The original assemblies will be backed up in the same folder where the 'Install.cmd' is located. NB! This step RESTARTS NS AND WEB SERVICES.

Steps to rollback the pointfix:
--------------------------------
1) Run Restore.cmd . Make sure that you run the uninstall script from administrator elevated cmd.exe.
   Assemblies will be restored from the 'Backup' folder. NB! This step RESTARTS NS AND WEB SERVICES.
