Problem
Domino Archiving Task / Domino Journaling Task during processing corrupt note document fails while setting EV custom properties like Archive Date, Archive Id etc and hence it is process again during each archiving run. This result in creating multiple savesets.
Which version of Symantec Enterprise Vault (EV) can this hotfix be applied?
This hotfix can only be applied to the following versions of Enterprise Vault:
Enterprise Vault for Domino 9.0.4, build 1097

What issue(s) does this hotfix resolve?
After the hotfix installation the tasks (Domino Archiving and Domino Journaling) blacklist the corrupted items, therefore they will not be processed again and multiple archived.

How to install this Hotfix:
1. Stop all the Enterprise Vault Services on the Enterprise Vault Server
2. Once the services are stopped, take a backup copy of the files EVDominoLibrary.dll, EVLotusDominoJournalTask.exe and EvLotusDominoArchivingTask.exe located in the Enterprise Vault installation folder
3. Copy the updated files contained in the Hotfix package into the Enterprise Vault installation folder replacing the original
4. Start all the Enterprise Vault Services on the Enterprise Vault Server
How to uninstall this Hotfix:
1. Stop all the Enterprise Vault Services on the Enterprise Vault Server
2. Once the services are stopped, restore the backed up files EVDominoLibrary.dll, EVLotusDominoJournalTask.exe and EvLotusDominoArchivingTask.exe located in the Enterprise Vault installation folder replacing the hotfixed.
3. Start all the Enterprise Vault Services on the Enterprise Vault Server
The code change in this hotfix will also be implemented in the following Enterprise Vault releases:
Enteprise Vault 9.0.5 **not yet released**
Enterprise Vault 10.0.3 **not yet released**
