During upgrade to Backup Exec 2012 the Database Migration fails with error "Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'NewJobName', table 'BEDB.dbo.mig-DeletedJobInfo'"

During a upgrade to Backup 2012 the Database Migration fails and the option is presented to continue or roll back. Backup Exec 2012 installation log (BKUPEXEC2012.HTM) shows the following error:

Please select the option to Roll back the Installation to previous version, and then retry the upgrade using the Backup Exec 2012 SP2 or later embedded installation media to resolve the issue. The latest media can be downloaded via http://fileconnect.symantec.com.
