Issue



Enterprise Vault (EV) File System Archiving (FSA) shortcuts are created improperly when the vault store setting to Remove safety copies is set to Never.


Cause



WORKAROUND:
Within the archiving rule configuration, set Shorcut creation to Create shortcut later so that the archived items are not converted to shortcuts.

This option is configured on the Shorcut Creation tab for each archiving rule listed in the Archiving Rules tab of the policy.
