Problem
Backup of Hyper-V virtual machine fails with error '0x1e - The system cannot read from the specified device' and debug log reports errors 'attempting to start a read past the end of the disk' and 'FS_NO_SECURITY '.
Error
Job log shows the following error:

Solution
WORKAROUND:
Backup VM using RAWS.
