Problem
A hostname in VOM may appear in various views as a long string of numerics inside brace characters (see ERROR below). This behavior may seem to be random and appear sometimes while not at other times.
Error

The string displayed above corresponds to the Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) value assigned to that host. This string can be found in the file /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/shared/domain.conf .
Example:
# cd /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/shared
# ls
domain.conf events stats xdist
# cat domain.conf
